 Our fully  inclusive K–8 learning community is led by certified teachers who welcome students of all backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles, creating a school environment where children feel safe to ask questions, explore ideas, build friendships, and discover their strengths. Tuition may be covered by Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds, and families can learn more through the Arizona Department of Education ESA program at www.azed.gov/esa.

Through project-based education, children do more than memorize facts—they investigate real-world questions, solve problems, collaborate with classmates, and create work they can be proud of. This hands-on approach helps students build confidence, creativity, communication skills, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

Hands-On Learning That Inspires

Our students learn by doing. From designing and building in woodworking class to exploring ideas in our maker space, using our large library, and developing musical skills through piano instruction beginning this year, Desert Ridge Preparatory gives children opportunities to explore practical, artistic, and academic talents. These experiences help students connect classroom learning to the world around them while developing focus, patience, problem-solving, and pride in their accomplishments.
